Welcome to the National Audit of Inpatient Falls
The National Audit of Inpatient Falls (NAIF) is a national clinical audit and part of the Falls and Fragility Fracture Audit Programme (FFFAP) managed by the Royal College of Physicians on behalf of the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP). This audit measures compliance against national standards of best practice in reducing the risk of falls within acute care. For further details about the audit please contact the audit team.
From January 2019, any patient entered in to the National Hip Fracture Database (NHFD) as an inpatient fall will be automatically entered in to this audit. Each trust's falls management team will be asked to complete these records.
This website contains audit reports, charts and other audit documents.
